Psst...Something Exciting is Coming...


     I'm not quite ready to let the cat out of the bag completely yet, but please stay tuned. In the coming week I will be sharing news about the additional space I am taking the wonderful opportunity to provide my classes from. New class times will be available and I hope to reach more clientele as well as bring my beloved current and past students along for the ride.
   
     Also coming is the big reveal of my new logo.
   
     I hope you are as excited as I am for these exciting additions to Blooming Lotus, which is much less a business in my mind and much more a beautiful journey of seeking wellness along with you. It is a joy and a privilege to be invited along to walk with on your path toward renewed strength, health, energy, and peace through the beautiful framework of a yoga and Pilates practice.

Squeeze A Little Yoga In & Candied Sweet Potato Fries

     A few weeks ago, while searching for a quick yoga workout on Yogi Tara Stiles' YouTube channel, I came across a video (see below) of Tara sharing her recipe for Candied Sweet Potato Fries. All I can say is YUM-O! I found these to be a delicious between-meal snack that were plenty filling. The next time I made them I used them as a side to compliment my quinoa, kale, and tofu stir-fry. Give 'em a try, they are delish! As a side note, feel free to play around with the recipe and don't stress if the exact ingredients aren't in your cupboard. I had agave syrup and olive oil on hand, so I swapped them out for the maple syrup and coconut oil. Also check Tara's yoga videos, they are a great way to sneak 10 minutes of mat time into your day.
